Note
The fonds contains notarial books from the island of Korčula. The island belonged to the Dubrovnik Republic but was under the rule of the Venetian Republic from the 15th century till 1797. The notarial books are stored in the State Archives in Zadar. The fonds was formed at the time when it was likely that the archival material would be transferred to the State Archives in Dubrovnik.
